An inverter refers to an electric circuit (inverter circuit) that converts DC to AC. An inverter may refer to an inverter controller in the field of household appliances such as air conditioners and washing machines. Elevators and factory conveyor belts do not suddenly accelerate or decelerate because motor acceleration is regulated. An inverter controller plays an important role in motor speed regulation.
